Often times I’m asked to write about flagpole and banner related topics. The content in this entry was composed to describe triband type standards. Many of such standards are used for purposes of display from (mostly) national flag poles. Many of today’s nations fly these types of banners. A triband features three colors, hence “tri-color,” in a diagonal, horizontal or vertical arrangement.
