When looking for antique or second hand furniture to buy it can be tough. There are some steps to consider that you wouldn\’t normally consider when buying a item of furniture from new. One thing people forget and often the same reason puts them off antique furniture is that items often have had repairs at some time or another. This should not put you off, as many items will have been repaired at some stage of life or another. It is more important to look for a bit of furniture with a good repair than to look for one without any repair. This is because nearly all items will have some work down to them it just depends on the quality of the repair work that has been done.
