The kickback occurs when the tip of chain guide bar touches an object, or when the wood closes in on the bar while cutting. Such contact causes an instant hit reverse back and upward toward the user. Such reaction may cause the loss of control of the saw and can cause serious injuries. Do not rely exclusively on devices security that has the saw. The user should take some precautions during the work to prevent accidents or injuries. With a basic understanding of the reasons of kickback you can eliminate the surprise element that cause accidents. ALWAYS HOLD THE CHAINSAW WITH TWO HANDS. The machine firmly gripped reduces the possibility of kickback and helps you to maintain the control of the saw. Assured that the work area is free of obstructions. Do not let the tip of the guide contact objects when using the saw. Keep the tip against the wood while cutting. Always cut at full acceleration, with the chain sharp and tense.
